Have not been here in a long time. Have to say that everything was great, the food, service and attitude. The manager Adian came over to check on us and ended up having a nice chat with him, good asset for the cantina. We will be back for sure, plenty of TV's for watching sports. They also give generous portions of food! *Restaurant Management Response Stephen, Thank you for the kind words!! I am glad you have an enjoyable experience and look forward to chatting with you again! Please stop in again and see us and try one of our new margaritas, including the 100% Organic Margarita we are now serving. As always we will have all the football action available and are getting ready for an awesome (fingers crossed) Broncos Superbowl!! -Aidan Wynn

A pitcher of well margaritas is $37...that is outrageous. The shrimp dish I has was alright, but not at all worth the $18 i payed for it...$18 for 6 shrimps and some stale bread, as a local concierge I would expect better, I will certainly not be referring guests to this place. *Restaurant Management Response Mike, I am sorry you feel that the $37 pitcher of Margaritas was overpriced, we do have house margarita pitchers available for $29 and at happy hour they are $15. We try and give customers (local and visitor alike) great value with both food and drinks. We try and stay competitive with other local eateries and their prices while providing a fun and entertaining atmosphere. Please come back and see us. We also are introducing new lower priced shrimp meals in the next few weeks!!. -Cantina Mgr

I went to the Cantina last weekend. It was a busy weekend, so our group of 6 wanted a place that we could get into with a reservation. We were seated instantly, which was nice for a large group. We started with the Traditional Margarita Pitcher, but no one was impressed with these, too sour! I would not recommend the picture as it was $52!! I had the best Queso I have ever had in my entire life! It is called the Queso Fundito, and it is simply amazing! My husband had the Carne Traditional and it was very good and perfectly cooked. I also tried the Baja Fish Tacos, which were good, but I have had much better. The best part of the whole experience was the amazing Indy music playing in the background. I can't tell you how many Mexican Restaurants blast Mexican Polka Music that drives me crazy. The playlist was amazing and made for a perfect night!

Really bad service and mediocre food. There were four of us for dinner in the large dining room with a couple of large groups. Our waiter tried in a very overt way to upcharge our meal and was offensive about it. We did not fall for the over sell. I have eaten there many, many times since the Cantina opened and have not had a meal this bad ever. The steak and onion mulitas are my favorite or were until that night. There was a teaspoon of shredded beef in each of them and very few onions. No steak to be seen. The waiter was busy in the other room and never came back to check on us until the meal was over. His excuses and remedy for the bad meal were pathetic to say the least. I will not go into deatil but it was less than adequate for the situation. I could go on but will not be going back.

I am a Mexican food junkie!! I love it..... SO when I saw Cantina in Aspen I jumped at the chance to give it a try! We didn't have reservations but the host at the stand was very accomodating and got our party of 6 down in about 20 minutes. Before we sat down we hado some awesome margs at the bar which was packed with all sorts of people. We got our drinks quickly and before I knew it we were being seated. Our server was quick and friendly and had some great suggestions about the menu. GET THE MOCHATEJE!! Wewanted to try some different tequilas so the manager came over and shared some knowledge with us and showed us some tequilas that none of us had seen before. All in all a very satasfying experience. Maybe the highlight of the X-Games for my friends and me. I will be back!!

After hearing for months about how horriable the new managment is, I descided to check it out for myself. While the crowd seems to be a bit different I still felt the same party atmosphere. I did notice that the floor and bathrooms were clean, and the place smelled clean. The food was great and the drinks were strong. Service was with a smile and they seemed happy to be at work. I don't see what all the hubbub was about, I will begin to go the the Cantina again!! Looking foward to football season next year on the big screen!!
