Fresh local food is coming back into style. If you don’t have time to garden or room for a garden try receiving a fresh produce box from Lisa Cassle every week. Lisa Cassle of North Fork Valley Fresh lives in Paonia surrounded by fertile farms.

Lisa started North Fork Valley Fresh mainly for her own health benefits, but expanded her business inorder to support local farmers (including herself), the local economy, to educate people about where their food is coming from, and the health benefits of eating organic produce. She also advocates being responsible consumers and spending money locally.

Each week she backs a box of freshest in season produce available and drives to Carbondale, Basalt, and Aspen to give you your share of the bounty. The boxes may include, organic honey, fresh bread, ripened tomatoes, farm fresh eggs, organic greens, herbs, squashes and more. It is always a surprise to open your box and find something new! 

Lisa, will soon be expanding into prepared meals, and desserts. Frozen prepared meals will be soups, lasagnas, quiches, and other meals made with whatever produce is coming off the farm that week. Desserts will include cheesecakes, fresh Paonia fruit pies and crisps, eclairs, cream puffs, cakes, and more!
