The last days of skiing also means it’s the best time to eat out in Aspen and although many restaurants close for the off season, the ones that remain open often offer some pretty good deals.  This coupled with the fact that it’s easy to get a table and everyone is super chill, tends to be the reason many Aspen locals eat out the most during the off seasons.  Helping you get a handle on the bang in your buck we’ve listed some Aspen restaurant specials below.

Not all things are looking dim in the Roaring Fork Valley Restaurant world. Cuvee is expanding their restaurant into the space next door at the Riverside Plaza on Two Rivers in Basalt. It seems that the former real estate office won’t be needing it anymore so why not build a bigger bar.

Yes two “Valley Girls”,  yes Roaring Fork Valley, are opening this new Basalt restaurant.  BLTs, burgers and lots of other great lunch and dinner items.  Breakfast sandwiches and burritos 8:30am-11am.  Visit eatBasalt for more.

This Aspen Daily News article states that Crave Restaurant in Willits will close its doors in order to reinvent themselves. The overall statement is that they will look at ways to become more economically priced to suit the current economic trends. We wish them luck.

You always know the best Mexican food when there is no menu and everyone is speaking Spanish. In Basalt along the river is the best place for authentic Mexican meals.

I try to take my little buddy (I am in the Buddy Program) out to lunch to El Taqueria. I love it! I used to get the Carne Asada which was to die for. I even got my sister from Telluride hooked on it. Now I am trying to eat a little healthier and go for the Ceviche Tostadas! Yummy! My little buddy always goes for the Tortas. I love that place! Great food and Great people!

I hope they are able to stay in Basalt for a very long time!
