Fundraiser at Aspen Restaurant Bumps

The Aspen restaurant Bumps is a great place for fundraiser. We attended the fundraiser for a mother of two who has lukemia. Bumps of Buttermilk was packed full of people. There was a $35 suggested donation and a silent auction. There were many gift certificates from Local Aspen Restaurants. We bid on the restaurants Su Casa in Aspen, Matushia in Aspen, Takah in Aspen, Dominoes in Aspen, Lynn Britt Cabin in Snowmass Village, and Goodfellows Pizza in Aspen. I wonder how many we won! I think we over bid on the Restaurants in Aspen!

The food of the even wasn’t that great. I don’t know if it was catered from Bumps of Buttermilk or from a local Aspen restaurant or a local Aspen caterer. I wasn’t impressed. However, we did get two free drinks with the entrance donation which was awesome!

I would highly recommend attending the Fundraiser as the Aspen Restaurant Bumps!

Sushi in Aspen, Colorado

Filed under: Aspen Restaurants, El Jebel — Tags: , , , , — admin @ 11:52 pm November 10, 2008

I love Sushi, luckily, Aspen, Colorado has some great Sushi Restaurants! The highest end is Matsuhisa and my dad who doesn’t like Sushi actually really enjoyed the experience. I think people have this weird idea about Sushi and until they try it, they think it is horrible!

My favorite Sushi restaurant in Aspen, Colorado is Kenichi. I prefer the atmosphere to the other two restaurants, and have some unique rolls! I would still go to Takah Sushi. However I have yet to try Asie. This summer Asie in Aspen just added sushi to their menu. I guess I’ll have to try it!

This Friday I am heading down valley to some great sushi at an even better price. As you know, Aspen prices are always higher! Well Sushi Ya-Go-Go is the cutest restaurant in El Jebel and serves the best sushi! They used to be in Aspen but moved down valley some time ago! I can’t wait to go back and will be happy to receive the bill!
