At first we were a little put off by sticker shock - the prices are the kind one would find in a really world class joint. When the food came it justified the price. My scaloppini was wonderful and my wife's veggie-cheese dish was respectable. Well worth the money. Service was great. The waitress was from Moldavia, and the type of hardworking immigrant that made our county so strong. Seating was very cramped, but it was raining, so the outdoor patio was not in use.

The Wild Fig is a place we've returned to time after time (on my part because of the memory that its predecessor Torino Pizza's food left.) And, how can you not love a place that pairs pastis with figs.
Colette ordered (what else?) the just-spicy-enough gazpacho with baked tortilla strips and a side salad and I had the just-spicy-enough Manila clams and chorizo in a just-spicy-enough tomato sauce and a slice of their excellent bread; lovely both!
With a bottle of wine, no bottled water or dessert nor coffee, our bill was $76.65 before tip.

Absolutely a gorgeous dinner. Great menu and a good choices of wine. One small comment; although the restaurant wasn't full, they were rushing you through your courses. As soon as you finished your starter, they served the main course. But overall a nice place to go for dinner.

Wild Fig is owned by the same people who own D19 and Lulu Wilson's. As is the case with most brasseries, the noise level can be quite high. However, the level of the food makes it palatable. The cuisine runs the gamut from selections such as "fish in a bag" to rack of lamb, giving one pause when contemplating the specifics of Mediterranean cuisine. Yet the appetizers definitely live up to that genre. Actually, I could make a meal (and have) of their appetizers. This gets a high recommendation from me, but bring a well-stuffed wallet.

We went to the Wild Fig for lunch in July and had a fantastic meal.. The mojitos were very fresh and had great flavor, and the pasta dish I ordered was one of the best meals I have ever had, anywhere in the US.
While it was not a cheap meal at all ($160 for three people at lunch) - it was delicious. We went several other places while in Aspen on vacation, but never found a better meal!
Highly recommended.
