Reviews of New York Pizza OVERALL RATINGS
Add Your Review April 22, 2010 Overall Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Small indoor upstairs eatery. Casual, Comfortable, and Beers on Tap. Serving a mix of Pizza offerings, Italian goodies like Meatball or Chicken Parm subs, and Salads. I've had some great New York style pizza here. I usually end up ordering by the slice which the selection is varied enough enough to keep it interesting. There is a small dining room with a few T.V.'s. but I usually take a walk either unto the mall or a park around the corner. Serves lunch and dinner pretty consistently. Almost the only late night eatery option serving past 2am in the heart of the season. Late night can be quite a scene with the line stretching down the stairs and onto the mall.
January 25, 2009 Overall Rating: ![]() The first time we ordered in New York Pizza one of our chicken pizza failed to arrive with chicken. We decided to give them a second chance and were met with unnecessarily rude and indignant service. We were then informed that we were being done a service and must tip the driver well. Such terrible service does not deserve our or your patronage.
August 1, 2008 Overall Rating: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() After several days worth of disappointing meals in Aspen, this place was the highlight. We grew up on Chicago-style pizza and consider any good pizza our favorite comfort food. New York Pizza was absolutely yummy! The decor is funky (and the place not just a little dirty). We'd recommend ordering a pizza for take-out, as it's quite crowded and loud (we listened to at least half a CD of Beastie Boys while waiting). It took about 25 mins. and $20 for a large, one-topping pizza. The pizza came out steaming and made it to our hotel several blocks away at just the right temperature.
February 29, 2008 Overall Rating: ![]() ![]() Last night I was rushing to catch a flick at the Wheeler and popped into NY Pizza. Hoping to grab a slice, eat quickly and go to the film, I was quite disappointed. The counter help was surly and un-responsive, the selection of slices all appeared cold and past their born-on dates. When I inquired "how long for a pepperoni slice?" the clerk said " twenty minutes". Just a thought, but if a pizza place is going to charge $5 for a slice, wouldn't it be nice if they had one ready, or at least "almost" ready.
